‘EAT’ moves to Lahore from 24th to 26th November 2017 at Jilani Park after a successful induction of Islamabad Eat which took place from 10th to 12th November.
Marking the fifth consistent year of the platform, the third day of #IsbEat saw a large number of patrons coming from all over Islamabad and Rawalpindi to the largest food fiesta consisting of 50 food i.e. Kiosks – mini cafes – stalls, where kiosks such as Karamel, Noors Kitchen, Jessie’s, Tuscany Courtyard, Wingitt, Tempura, Sexy Sajji, Suki Sushi and Murasaki Japanese to name a few. In addition to this, in association with one of Pakistani’s leading college of tourism & hotel management – COTHM conducted several food competitions and professional chef demos throughout the day. The event concluded through Pepsi Battle of the Bands participant Jasim & The Pindi Boys followed up a performance by Fuzion.
In terms of further patrons and sponsors, the success of Eat Festival continues to prompt food sector associates to grow in their engagement of the platform to bigger audience members, marketing campaigns and promotional activities sharing a common vision with the Eat Festival to develop and promote Pakistan’s eatery industry. The brain child of CKO Event Architecture, now in its fifth year running this annual event has become the largest food Festival in the country and draws in a crowd of over 100,000 people. Eat festivals focus on details which no other festival would consider. The purpose behind it is of course to create an experience which is as inclusive as possible whilst maintaining the original concept.
